We are looking for a Test Engineer/Test Strategist is responsible for the test strategies, test practices and their implementation for the communications roadmap of the department. He is also responsible for the E2E testing of complex features across teams and departments.
• Description:
We are looking for a Software Systems Test Engineer to join our team. The role involves developing, documenting, and executing software system tests in accordance with ASUX standards. You will define test procedures, create test cases, develop automated test environments, and execute both manual and automated tests. The position also includes reporting bugs, participating in project meetings, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute software system tests following ASUX standards.
- Define test procedures and test cases.
- Develop automated test environments and automation scripts when applicable.
- Execute manual and automated tests, create test reports, and log defects.
- Conduct vehicle testing when required.
- Participate in software system test reviews and project meetings.
- Communicate with clients regarding software development and testing (if applicable).
- Ensure adherence to ASUX and TCK quality standards and project schedules.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the company’s professional image.
- Continuously develop professional skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of electronics and electronic measurement principles.
- Basic programming skills.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong team orientation and collaboration skills.
- Integrity in dealing with company, clients, and colleagues.
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel if required.
- Familiarity with software systems testing tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with C and Python programming.
- Familiarity with tools such as Vector CANoe, Polarion, and JIRA.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience
