Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain in-house dashboards to track application performance for 200+ consumer banking technology applications.
• Design, develop and maintain performance dashboards to monitor key performance indicators for critical applications.
• Work with the SRE team to automate mundane tasks and increase productivity.
• Conforming to the bank’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards ensuring relevant documentations are completed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across platforms to ensure the effective implementation of other toil reduction initiatives.
• Automate regular and periodic reports whenever possible.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of technology experience (preferably in the financial industry)
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, a related technical field that involves programming, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years’ experience in the following areas
o Scripting Language: Python Flask/Perl script/Rest API
o SQL: MySQL/Oracle/MS SQL
o Front End: ReactJS, /NodeJS
o Jenkins pipeline
o Bitbucket
• Understands key SRE concepts such as Toil, SLI, SLO, Error Budgets, MTTD, MTTR, etc
• Strong, committed, and reliable team player, able to take direction but willing to contribute to discussions on design and strategy.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to deal with and form good relationships with other technology teams through day-to-day support and project work
