Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) is responsible for the R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts, and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.

We are hiring an Applied Machine Learning Intern to develop AI bot driven by Deep Reinforcement Learning.

Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced analytic methods to solve business problems and deliver solutions in game development, publishing, and live-ops.
• Support the development of end-to-end data products, including data analysis, experimentation, machine learning model development, validation, and serving.
• Interact cross-functionally with various teams such as game studios, product and engineering teams and provide actionable business insights for stakeholders. Keep up with the latest trends in data science and machine learning, effectively apply advanced technologies and tools in gaming.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, machine learning, computer science, math, etc.
• Expertise in deep learning and/or reinforcement learning with hands-on experience.
• Proficient in Python.
• Strong team work skills.
• Proficient in C++ is preferred.
• Experience in video game is preferred
• Experience with Unreal Engine is preferred
• Publication in top machine learning/data mining/AI/information retrieval/applied math/statistics conference or journal is preferred.
