Senior Software Engineer - PHP/Laravel, Vue.JS

Our client is a tech-enabled e-commerce / subscription service with the mission of directly accelerating humanity’s transition to sustainable food systems. They are seeking a true, senior-level Full-stack Software Engineer with expertise in PHP/Laravel and Vue, and problem-solving to build new features and enhancements on their proprietary e-commerce, marketing, and logistics platforms.

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer I (Full-stack, PHP/Laravel, and Vue)

Location: 100% Remote. Must be based in U.S. and comfortable working on ET hours. Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship.

Required Technology And Skills

• 5+ years of professional, hands-on software engineering experience with expertise in PHP Laravel (Ideally version 10+)
• Experience working Full-stack with Laravel and Vue.JS and building robust, scalable and efficient web aplications
• Experience working in 100% Cloud environments (AWS) and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with Docker, ECS, Redis, MySQL, and/or Elastic search
• Experience with eCommerce, funnel optimization, and/or page-speed optimization
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and understanding of the “Why” in software development
• Start-up minded – ability to work in small team / flat structure, highly collaborative, and ability to take initiative
• Experience working with product, marketing, and contributing to collaborative discussions on architecture, design, and best practices
• Desire to work for mission-driven organization and passion for sustainability/sustainable food systems
• Familiarity with DevOps / CICD practices, version control systems (Git),& relational databases

Additional Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related-field
• Experience working within e-Commerce
• Passion for PHP, involvement in PHP / Engineering community, and up-to-date knowledge of best practices, latest versions, etc.
• Desire to work for mission-driven organization

Salary Range: Target base salary range of $150,000 - $170,000 (based on experience), plus annual cash bonus of 10-25% (based on company performance)
