Job Title: Software Engineer

Remuneration: £52.40 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary (28/04/2025 - 27/06/2025) 2 months

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and implement engaging gameplay experiences for VR, mobile, and PC platforms.
• Drive ideation and technical design, ensuring polished, reusable gameplay elements.
• Prototype gameplay concepts to visually communicate ideas and secure stakeholder approvals.
• Oversee cross-platform playtesting, utilising feedback and data to refine designs.
• Generate comprehensive paper designs for stakeholder sign-off, ensuring alignment on project goals.

Qualifications:

• Professional experience in gameplay scripting or technical design.
• Strong understanding of game architecture with proficiency in TypeScript or similar scripting languages.
• Passion for various game genres and styles, particularly in mobile and VR environments. 🎮
• Awareness of diverse audiences, their goals, and motivations within gameplay.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially in remote settings. 🌍
• Knowledge of interaction design differences across input devices (PC, console, mobile, VR).
• Demonstrated experience in debugging and optimising performance in a scripting environment.
