Senior Software Engineer - Espoo - up to 6500€/pm + bonus

Our client is looking for a talented Firmware Engineer to join a growing team.

They deliver advanced AI-based capabilities to Network service providers globally, and with your work, you will contribute to making internet connections safer for millions of homes and devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain their WiFi Data Agent, which collects and processes WiFi data from various networking chipsets.
• Address challenges associated with non-standardized WiFi data chips.
• Extend and enhance OpenWRT-based gateway solutions to improve performance and security.
• Port the WiFi Data Agent to different customer environments ensuring seamless integration.
• Design and implement automated testing infrastructure to validate WiFi solutions.

Requirements

• Experience working with WiFi drivers (e.g., Broadcom, MediaTek, Qualcomm) and in-depth knowledge of the 802.11 network protocol.
• Strong understanding of embedded Linux build systems
• Software Engineering / Development experience (not administration/network engineers)
• Hands-on experience with Linux userspace applications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Strong scripting skills in Shell scripting and Pytest
