Oxygen Digital are supporting on this exciting DevOps position. The client’s platform digitises and automates energy network planning across power, gas, heating, and water systems. It provides a centralised web-based hub with open-source tools (pandapower/pandapipes), GIS data integration, and automated live updates for real-time modelling. Supports cross-sector planning (power grids, pipe networks) to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration in energy management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain tools to automate and enhance development infrastructure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to optimise deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software development teams to support and improve application stacks.
• Administer and optimise cloud-based platforms and environments.
• Deploy and support applications across client systems (e.g., container orchestration environments like Kubernetes).

What You Bring:

• Solid Linux expertise and experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Proficiency in orchestrating application stacks (e.g., Docker Compose, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver solutions efficiently.
• Fluency in German.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Programming experience in Python.
• Knowledge of container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
