Key Java Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Key Java Developer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our comprehensive enterprise trading solution, which is designed to handle all financial products on a unified, real-time platform. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and adopting a micro-services architecture, our developer will contribute to a best-in-class trading environment that meets the evolving needs of the finance industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver software systems that are high throughput, scalable, concurrent, and highly fault tolerant
• Enhance our global, multi-asset trading platform through meaningful contributions
• Design and implement various OEMS capabilities such as real-time market data, algorithmic trading, and trade analytics
• Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to shape the product roadmap
• Innovate solutions to tackle complex issues, and proactively identify potential obstacles
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java with a minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on experience
• Background in distributed application development using NoSQL technologies, microservices architecture, and coordination services such as Zookeeper
• Skills in message-oriented middleware architectures and relational database systems
• Expertise in concurrent programming, and designing high-throughput, high availability, and fault-tolerant systems
• Qualifications in adhering to SDLC best practices including test-driven development, unit testing, agile development, and CI/CD strategies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with strong communication skills

• Familiarity with UI component development using modern web technologies like React or Angular
• Understanding of financial information exchange protocols such as FIX
• Experience in derivatives trading and software development
• Flexibility to work in various domains like portfolio management, prime brokerage, security lending, and trading across different asset classes
