Financial Advisory Expert – Start-up Scale-Up Support (Luxembourg, hybrid 2 days in office)

We are looking for an experienced Financial Advisory Expert to support the scaling-up of start-ups in the Clean-tech, Deep-tech, and Life-sciences sectors. This role involves providing financial advisory services to help innovative companies secure follow-on financing from institutional investors and lenders.

📍 Location: Luxembourg (2 days onsite per week)

📅 Start Date: May 2025

💰 Rate: Up to €500 per day

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Conduct financial analysis, financial modelling, market analysis, and business plan development to prepare companies for investment.

✔️ Support start-ups in preparing investor-ready information packages and potential funding proposals.

✔️ Engage with selected companies to gather data for financing assessments.

✔️ Evaluate the bankability and investment readiness of start-ups and recommend improvements.

✔️ Work closely with institutional lending teams and investors to facilitate funding opportunities.

✔️ Identify relevant start-ups for potential follow-on financing opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, IT, Mathematics, Science, or Engineering.

✅ 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in financial advisory, financial modelling, market analysis, or valuation.

✅ Strong knowledge of investment processes, start-up funding, and financial due diligence.

✅ Experience working with institutional investors or financial institutions (EIB experience is a plus).

✅ Fluent in English (additional languages are a bonus).
