Cloud Engineer (Automation)

Utrecht – Hybrid

Salary Between €55,000 – €75,000

You come up with tactical solutions for the customer and design them thoroughly. This includes issues about connections, migrations, security and determining the required performance.

Responsibilities of Cloud Engineer:

• Streamlining manual tasks through automation
• Designing and managing cloud and on-premises environments
• Handling upgrades (component versions) and updates (patches)
• Implementing logging, monitoring, and performance optimisation for environments
• Configuring and utilising CI/CD pipelines
• Overseeing release processes and deployment strategies
• Managing system capacity and scalability
• Establishing and maintaining operational management procedures

What are we looking for in an Cloud Engineer?

• Automation through Red Hat Ansible (certified)
• Automatic provisioning of IaaS and PaaS services
• Databases in an enterprise environment
• Secure by Design
• Minimum Red Hat RHCSA certification.
• At least 4 years of experience with the technical management of private cloud environments
• Familiar with hosting (IaaS and PaaS), high availability, high performance, scalability and security best practices
