Position Summary: As the UX/UI Lead at Startupr, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product design and development processes. This role is ideal for a strong individual contributor who can manage and inspire a design team while also taking on significant hands-on design work. You will be responsible for ensuring that all design outputs meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and user experience. This position offers substantial growth opportunities, including the potential to evolve into a leadership role as Startupr scales.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership and Vision: Contribute to and drive the overall design strategy, ensuring alignment with Startupr’s mission and enhancing our service offerings.
• Hands-On Design Work: Lead by example through hands-on UX/UI design projects, from ideation to final execution, maintaining high standards of design quality.
• Team Management: Manage and mentor a small team of designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
• Project Management: Oversee design project timelines, manage the design backlog, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of design tasks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate design strategies and concepts into all product and business developments.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve design processes and workflows to enhance team productivity and output quality.
• Industry Trends and Insights: Stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies, applying insights to drive innovation at Startupr.

Offering:

• Equity Stake: 10% equity in Startupr, vested over four years with a one-year cliff, reflecting the strategic importance of the UX/UI Lead role in our company’s success.

• Equity-Linked Revenue Share: From the moment you join, your vested equity will function as a proportional share of Startupr's net revenue. This ensures that you immediately participate in the financial success of the company, with payments directly tied to your equity percentage—even during the vesting period. For instance, if a client deal is secured shortly after your start date, your allocated share of the net revenue will be calculated and disbursed accordingly, reflecting your contribution to Startupr's growth.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proven experience in a design management or senior design role, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Extensive knowledge of modern UX/UI principles and practices.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing design backlogs and setting priorities.
• Exceptional aesthetic sensibility and an understanding of what makes a product visually appealing and user-friendly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
