For our client in Bern, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded ServiceNow DevOps Engineer

You join an Agile team where you will help in the analysis of new application & capabilities. You will work with business and developers to bridge the knowledge. Your understanding of complex solution and needs will be put to use through various tasks:

• Analysis

• Requirement transcription

• Acceptance criteria definition

Your tasks:

• Data model adaptations in ServiceNow
• Domain separation and cross-domain reuse
• Service automation and instantiation
• Integration of external automation frameworks and data stores
• Portal creation based on business service portfolios and external UX design
• Reporting and service dashboards, especially for billing and monitoring

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in the role of DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Higher degree in IT
• At least 5 years of ServiceNow experience
• Advanced knowledge in object-oriented design methods
• Additional desired experience in: Microservice architectures, Python programming, SQL and graph databases
• High flexibility and adaptability
• Self-organized and responsible (agile mindset)
• Ability to work in cross-cultural environments
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Very good English skills (written & spoken), German or French are assets
