Appgate is looking for a talented UI Software Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. We work creatively in a supportive yet challenging environment. Within Appgate, you will be surrounded by a team of ethical hackers, security experts, machine learning experts, designers and software engineers.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the team to develop the frontend interfaces of our products (SDP & ZTP).
• Responsible for developing and maintaining clean, up-to-date, and thoroughly tested code for the frontend.
• Engage in code reviews and maintain openness to receiving constructive feedback from peers.
• Participate in agile processes, utilizing both Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Collaborate and brainstorm with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and achieve project goals.
• Work closely with the design team to create accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Work experience with React and either TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong focus on accessibility in web development.
• Deep knowledge of HTML & CSS.
• Proficiency in using GitHub and participating in peer code reviews.
• 3+ years of experience
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with End-to-End testing (playwright) and unit testing (jest).
• Experience with React library and framework (like Nextjs and Redux)
• Experience with Storybook
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
