Product Manager II, Chrome Autofill

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer-facing products.
  • Experience in product delivery with the ability to break down an ambiguous problem space into tangible short-term steps.
  • Knowledge in web development with the understanding of web capabilities and threat models.
  • Knowledge in cross-functional areas including engineering, user experience and user research.
  • Ability to articulate product vision in your area, documenting both short-term plans and long-term strategy.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational and investigative skills with the ability to meld quantitative data, qualitative insights, work on projects spanning multiple teams and own product instincts.

Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across Chrome to build high-quality, seamless and safe autofill experiences across addresses, forms of payments, and many other fields.
  • Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution and success of cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Engineering, UX, UX Research, Marketing, Legal, and PR.
  • Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and UX research outcomes to look for areas of improvement in the form of new features, new controls, quality improvements, and new UI design.
