Job Title - AI/ML Engineer

Location – Vancouver, BC

Start Date - Immediate

Job Description:

• Experience in building models and extracting insights with supervised and unsupervised techniques using both machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
• Ability to work with choice of hyperparameters for optimizing performance towards desired business goals of the model).
• Ability to choose right optimization goals based on business needs.
• Ability to device drift monitoring strategies.
• Adept with underpinning mathematics and python-based ML frameworks and APIs .
• Ability to build, deploy, monitor, and maintain Machine Learning models which could be stand alone or be part of AI Products .
• Ability to drive insights with data analytics pre and post model build.
• Experience with building models on structured and unstructured data.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines and architectures to support data collection, transformation, and integration from various sources.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high standards of engineering excellence.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills by clearly articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams from Business and Technology domains to align project goals, gather requirements, and drive successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, provide technical support, and ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of data systems.
• Technologies : Python based ML frameworks like Scikit-learn, SciPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLFlow, Hugging Face, Databricks(nice to have).
• Nice to have : Gen AI, Computer vision.
