Meet the Team

The Unified Computing Systems (UCS) team work on the Cisco UCS Rack Server, a high-density, compact server optimized for performance and efficiency, suitable for virtualization and bare-metal workloads. Managed by Cisco Intersight or UCS Manager, it enhances business agility with a full range of unified computing benefits. In our multifaceted, start-up-like environment, you'll engage in the complete software development cycle using agile methodologies, focusing on the design, development, testing, and deployment of UCS server platform Management Controller firmware and software tools.

Your Impact

  • We craft, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems.
  • We collaborate with internal teams to integrate and test new features, resolving any integration issues.
  • We debug, identify root causes, and fix complex system-level software deficiencies.
  • We identify and pursue opportunities for product and technology improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

We are looking for a Software Engineer who is good in the Embedded system background with 3+ Years of experience,

Proficient in C, C++, and Python within Linux environments.

Strong expertise in memory-constrained Embedded Systems Programming, preferably in Unix, with knowledge of protocol layers such as LDAP, PAM, TACACS, and SNMP.

Skilled in IPC, including multithreading, socket programming, shared memory, and mutexes.

Excellent core debugging skills, including resolving memory issues using debuggers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Device drivers/BMC/IPMI/Redfish/SAAS platform is a plus.
  • Prior experience in architecture and design of complex systems is a plus
