Functional Analyst (Freelance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level business requirements into technical specifications.
• Work closely with solution designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Conduct independent testing of developed solutions to ensure quality before release.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with developers to resolve technical challenges.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for functional specifications and testing protocols.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Mainframe COBOL and DB2.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience in testing and quality assurance, ensuring that developed solutions meet business needs.
• Strong understanding of technical systems, with the ability to work closely with developers.
• Excellent English, (French or Dutch) communication skills
