Network & Security Engineer (Expert Level)

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure high-performance data center infrastructures.

Key Skills:

• Design and implement scalable, resilient network architectures for data centers, ensuring high performance and fault tolerance.
• Manage ISP multi-homing with BGP and IP-based networks using Cisco solutions (IOS-XE, NX-OS, ASR, Nexus 9000).
• Implement and maintain load balancing solutions for optimal traffic distribution and availability.
• Provide expertise in network security, including Cisco ASA VPN, Cisco Secure Client, Checkpoint Firewalls, and FortiGate SD-WAN.
• Automate network infrastructure deployment and management with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Develop automation workflows using REST API, RESTCONF, and NETCONF.
• Configure Kubernetes networking, including ingress rules and policies, for workload deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless network deployment and troubleshooting.
• Design and manage SDN environments with NSX and Cisco ACI.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience designing high-availability network solutions for data centers.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and Nexus IP network configurations with NX-OS.
• Expertise in load balancing (Radware, F5) and network security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitLab/GitHub).
• Experience with API-based integrations (REST API, RESTCONF, NETCONF).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking and container orchestration.
• Ability to design secure, scalable network architectures.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Networks, or Telecommunications.
• CCIE Certification (or equivalent) required.
• Several years of experience in network engineering, security, and high-availability solutions.
• Fluent in English (C-level).

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco: CCNP, CCIE, Specialist (Data Center, Security, Service Provider)
• F5: Certified BIG-IP Administrator, Solution Expert
• Radware: Certified Advanced Engineer
• Fortinet: NSE4, NSE5, NSE7+
• Check Point: CCSE, CCSM
• VMware: VCP-DCV, VCAP-DCV
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, or equivalent certifications
• Cybersecurity: CISE, CISSP
