About the Role

As a Data Engineering Program Intern at Oeson Learning, you will embark on an intensive three-month training and internship program designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Data Engineering. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to work with large datasets, build data pipelines, and develop scalable data solutions while working on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training covering key Data Engineering concepts.
• Work alongside industry experts on real-time data projects, gaining practical experience in data processing, ETL pipelines, and cloud data solutions.
• Apply your learning in parallel with an internship, where you will contribute to building and managing scalable data pipelines.
• Gain experience with SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Learn how to optimize, clean, and process large datasets for analytics and AI applications.
• Collaborate with peers and mentors to design data models, warehouse architectures, and big data solutions.
• Receive continuous feedback and support to refine your skills in data transformation, automation, and performance tuning.

What You Will Learn

• Data Engineering Fundamentals: Understanding data architectures, ETL processes, and big data ecosystems.
• Database Management: Working with SQL, NoSQL, and data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
• Data Pipelines & ETL: Building automated workflows using Apache Airflow, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Cloud Data Engineering: Learning how to store, process, and analyze big data using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Data Processing & Optimization: Implementing data transformation, cleaning, and performance tuning techniques.
• Data Security & Governance: Understanding best practices for securing and managing large-scale data systems.

Requirements

• Strong interest in Data Engineering, Big Data, and Cloud Technologies.
• Eager to learn and take on challenges, no prior experience required.
• Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or databases is a plus (but not mandatory).
• Enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience and working on real-world data engineering projects.
