Blockchain Expert Lead

Role: Blockchain Expert - Technical and Strategic Lead

Location: Must be based in Europe

Salary: Up to €7k per month + bonus/tokens

Signify are partnered with an innovative fintech company specializing in payments, cryptocurrency, and blockchain solutions and are now seeking a Blockchain Expert to lead their upcoming crypto projects, including crypto wallets, decentralized exchanges (DEX), and other groundbreaking blockchain applications.

About The Role

Technical Leadership

Design and develop blockchain-based solutions, including crypto wallets, DEX integrations, and smart contracts.
Provide expertise on on-chain and off-chain architectures, ensuring scalability and security.
Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain protocols and tools.
Keep up with industry trends, exploring L1, L2, rollups, bridges, and hybrid solutions.

Strategy & Market Leadership

Act as a key decision-maker on blockchain projects, assessing feasibility, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with business and product teams to define blockchain strategies aligned with market demands.
Conduct research on crypto payments, DeFi, tokenization, and cross-chain interoperability.

Development & Implementation

Implement smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or Move, following security best practices.
Develop backend services to interact with blockchain networks, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.
Ensure secure and efficient transaction processing.
Maintain compliance with blockchain security standards and regulatory frameworks.

Must-Have

About You:

Blockchain Expertise
In-depth knowledge of blockchain protocols, wallets, DEXs, DeFi, and crypto transactions.
Experience with Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, or other major blockchain platforms.
Smart contract development (Solidity, Rust, or Move).
Strong understanding of gas optimization, security best practices, and consensus mechanisms.
Development Skills
Proficiency in Rust and TypeScript (preferred).
Experience with Node.js, Web3.js, ethers.js, or similar blockchain SDKs.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or cloud-based blockchain solutions.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with MEV strategies, Flashbots, or on-chain arbitrage.
Understanding of zk-SNARKs, zk-Rollups, or other privacy-preserving technologies.
Familiarity with DeFi protocols such as Aave, Uniswap, Curve, etc.
Exposure to cross-chain solutions and interoperability frameworks.
