Senior Python API Developer

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs for relational & non-relational databases
• Work with Python frameworks like Django and FastAPI to build scalable applications
• Develop and manage Python packages and modules for application functionality
• Optimize data processing using formats like Parquet and Delta
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle—design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of APIs
• Write and execute unit test cases using pytest to ensure code quality and reliability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., CosmosDB) to support API development
• Ensure API robustness through continuous testing and improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs for relational and non-relational databases
• Strong understanding of API testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices for efficient deployment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and services to enhance application scalability and performance
