Product Designer - UX/UI - Prototyping

Product Designer - utilising your visual design or prototyping background to work with VR AR products

12-18 month contract

Description

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our clients team and create intuitive, user-centered experiences. This is a full 360 role where you will be involved in every stage of the design process, from concept to execution

As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to craft seamless digital experiences that balance business goals with user needs. Whether it’s refining an interface, building a design system, or prototyping a new feature, your work will directly influence how people engage with our products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Transforming broad, conceptual ideas into user-friendly and scalable designs.
• Designing flows, interactions, and interfaces that simplify complex tasks.
• Creating and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to test, iterate, and refine design solutions.
• Making data-driven design decisions that align with business and user needs.
• Presenting and advocating for design solutions across teams and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design.
• Strong proficiency in visual design, prototyping, and usability principles.
• Experience working with design systems and scalable UI frameworks.
• A keen eye for typography, layout, and color, with a focus on consistency.
• The ability to think strategically while executing at a high level of craft.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, researchers, and product managers in an agile environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience shipping features across various platforms.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, user research, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in UI design principles, iconography, and layout aesthetics.
• Experience in strategic product thinking and decision-making.
