AI Engineer - Founding Engineering Team - Remote (Full-Time)

About Us

Eluvium builds AI agents to automate sales operations & procurement in manufacturing. Sales operations & procurement still do 80% of their work in emails and spreadsheets, resulting in repetitive tasks, human errors, messy processes, and lost revenue. Our AI agents will process unstructured data, automate data entry, and orchestrate tasks across the organization. We aim to reduce operating costs by 10%, reduce overstock by 20%, and increase deliverables by 30%. 

We are a London-based, VC-backed startup led by two experienced cofounders (ex-Paraşüt cofounder, ex-Palantir engineer). We create solutions that turn unstructured information into a strategic asset, enabling smarter decision-making and seamless business operations. About the Role

As an AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in our company's growth by developing scalable software solutions to tackle complex unstructured data challenges. You will work closely with the founding team, helping shape our core technology stack and having a direct impact on the product's success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement cutting-edge AI features that address complex challenges in unstructured data processing.
• Collaborate with a small, agile team to drive rapid innovation and autonomy.
• Understand business needs and implement tailored AI solutions.
• Optimize AI models and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and methods.

About You

We are looking for:

• Ownership mentality: Excitement to work in a startup environment with a strong sense of ownership.
• Problem-solving skills: Proficiency in software design, coding, and effective communication.
• Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Technical expertise: Solid understanding of machine learning principles and experience with frameworks like PyTorch, LlamaIndex, Langchain, and HuggingFace.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with foundational Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with AI agents and/or Knowledge Graphs (KGs).
• Proficient Python skills.
• Experience with ML Ops and cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
