Java Back-End Developer (Onsite - Dubai, UAE)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Back-End Developer for an onsite contract position in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based technologies, BPM tools, and microservices architecture. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting back-end solutions for enterprise-scale applications while ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
• Work with BPM tools (IBM BPM, Camunda, Omniflow, Omniscan, OmniDocs).
• Optimize database queries for Oracle DB 11g.
• Manage BAU support for BPM and microservices platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring minimal business impact.
• Design and implement web services (REST, SOAP) and middleware solutions (SOA, ESB, JMS).
• Work with front-end technologies like React.js, Bootstrap.
• Lead technology workshops & training programs.
• Develop blueprints, roadmaps, and data migration strategies.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and clustering of applications.
• Collaborate in Agile development and project management environments.

Must-Have Skills

• Java & J2EE (Java, JSF, AJAX, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, JPA, Hibernate)
• Microservices Architecture (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
• BPM Tools (IBM BPM, Camunda, Omniflow, OmniDocs, OmniScan)
• Database Management (Oracle DB 11g, optimized queries)
• Middleware & Web Services (SOA, ESB, JMS, WebLogic 11g, REST, SOAP, JAAS, JAXP)
• Front-End Technologies (React.js, Bootstrap, jQuery, Struts)
• System Performance & Scalability (Threading, memory management, clustering)
• Application Development & Production Support
• Agile Methodologies & Project Management

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Java & J2EE application development.
• At least 3 full-cycle implementation projects.
• 2+ years of production support experience.
• 5+ years as a functional lead consultant.
• Prior experience in large-scale solutioning, migration, and process automation.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
