We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our client's team in Trondheim, Norway. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge GPU technologies for next-generation devices. You will collaborate with some of the most talented engineers in the industry, developing high-performance DirectX drivers for modern Mali™ GPUs.

Your work will play a crucial role in shaping the future of graphics technology, with applications spanning mobile, machine learning, IoT, automotive, security, and embedded devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize DirectX drivers for the latest Mali™ GPUs
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless GPU integration
- Improve performance and efficiency by reducing driver overhead
- Analyze system behavior, debug complex issues, and implement solutions
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and customers to refine GPU software solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Modern C/C++ (C++17 or newer)
- Experience with low-level software development in a commercial environment
- Deep understanding of Direct3D 11/12 and how it interacts with GPU hardware
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience in 2D/3D graphics technologies such as Vulkan, OpenGL, or OpenGL ES
- Background in embedded Windows driver development
- Strong understanding of computer architecture (CPU, memory hierarchy, MMU, caches, etc.)
- Proven problem-solving and debugging skills
- Passion for innovation and process improvement
