We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Backend PHP Laravel Developer to join our rapidly growing team and contribute to our highly innovative product.


The ideal candidate should be a resourceful and creative developer with extensive experience in website layout, design, and PHP coding. Proficiency in the PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases is essential for web application development.


Our development process focuses on TDD, utiliSing GitLab CI/CD and AWS services for seamless code deployment to production. We believe in the flexibility of deploying code as frequently as necessary, without the hassle of planning inconvenient maintenance windows.


Key technical skills and experience required:


  • Strong background in writing robust, object-oriented PHP code, with at least a few years of experience in Laravel.
  • Some experience in writing unit/feature PHP tests.
  • Proficient in using GIT for version control.
  • Methodical troubleshooting skills and bug tracking ability.

  • Possess excellent time management skills, organising tasks efficiently within project requirements.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code.

Unfortunately, we're unable to offer sponsorship. We're looking for candidates who reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Leeds, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home for two days each week.
