Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Backend Node.js developer to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js development and a strong ability to develop web applications with minimum to no supervision. Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, the Backend Node.js Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and secure backend services using Node.js
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs
• Implement RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend systems
• Optimize application performance and scalability through efficient coding and database query optimization
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and testing
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functioning of backend systems
• Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and best practices
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with frontend technologies such as React
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and best practices
• Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
