Middle Java developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team on a part-time basis, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role based on performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend functionalities, including API integrations with third-party services such as Collov.ai.

Project Overview

Hard Skills

2-4 years of experience in Java development;
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Spring Security;
Experience with OAuth2 authentication and API integrations;
Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment;
Proficiency in working with Redis and MySQL databases;
Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse as development environments;
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.

Nice To Have

Prior experience in AI-powered applications or home design-related platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Spring Security;
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms with OAuth2;
Integrate and manage Redis + MySQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval;
Develop API connections, particularly with https://app.collov.ai/, to fetch and process data;
Deploy and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure;
Collaborate with the development team to enhance platform functionalities;
Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation.
