Team Lead Streamlit developer (Slovenia, remote)

About the company and the project:

A European IT company, which has been creating software products of any level of complexity for more than 15 years, is looking for a highly skilled Team Lead Streamlit Developer to oversee the design and development of interactive data visualization applications.

The company is primarily working with American and European partners and clients. They handle various projects across different sectors, including banking, e-commerce, and more. The company develops custom software projects.

The company's head office is located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. There are also offices in Bulgaria. You are offered completely remote cooperation with the ability to work from anywhere in the world.

Your tasks on the position:

• Leading the end-to-end development of Streamlight-based applications to transform data into interactive and intuitive tools
• Architecting and designing app workflows ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of Streamline apps
• Overseeing a team of developers
• Ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects
• Integrating Streamline apps with databases, APIs, and data pipelines to pull in real time data

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional development experience, with at least 2 years in a teamleadership role
• Strong proficiency in Python and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib)
• Proven expertise in developing applications using Streamlit
• Familiarity with deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines and Docker
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• English B2+

Will be a plus:

• Snowflake experience
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with cloud platforms for deploying and scaling Streamlit apps
• Knowledge of ML concepts and their integration into interactive tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
