Job Description
Position: Security Analyst – L1
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze security events from various sources including SIEM tools, logs, and alerts.
Investigate potential security incidents and escalate them as needed.
Perform vulnerability management tasks such as scanning, assessment, and remediation.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
Participate in incident response activities and support forensic investigations when required.
Provide basic support to users related to security issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Fresh graduate in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
Familiarity with common security tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
Basic knowledge of networks, operating systems, and application security.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills (Additional Advantage):
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, or vulnerability management tools.
