DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team our high performing tech team. As a Engineer at swipejobs, You will be responsible for managing technology across the full stack on our production system, including Infrastructure and security (AWS Cloud), code review and analysis, automation and optimisation support, driving and setting up our CI/CD environment, and maintaining the mission-critical cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production environments are stable, high performing and secure
• Manage Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with a focus on security
• Ensure the production environments are stable, high performing and secure
• Software/infrastructure automation engineering focusing on CI/CD
• Information Security of all data, servers and processes
• Scripting, coding and programming in: Python, Bash
• Build and development with Terraform, GoCD, Artifactory, Git and Gradle
• Design and develop secure AWS infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Icinga and Ansible
• Build and release pipelines with GoCD
• Promoting builds across multiple development, test, staging and production environments

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years Australian market experience in an extremely fast-paced and extreme agile environment
• Expert Cloud experience in Kubernetes AWS network and VPC setup
• Strong automation experience; Ansible, Saltstack
• Coding / scripting skills; Python, Bash
• ElasticSearch, Kibana, ELK stack
• Exposure to managing installations of technologies like; Kafka, Apache Spark, MongoDB
• CI/CD pipeline; we use GoCD
• Production experience with Docker
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes is desirable
• Good communication, organisational skills; including the ability to manage changing priorities and meeting deadlines
