Data Intelligence Analyst - student

Our Data Intelligence and Strategy & Business Operations teams work cross-functionally to optimize pricing strategies and market liquidity. We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual with strong quantitative skills, experience in financial markets, and proficiency in SQL and Python.

What you'll do

• Assist on the design and implementation of pricing programs for various Bitstamp products, such as spot trading, derivatives trading, and other products and services
• Help monitoring & reporting client-by-client performance to identify significant changes in client behavior and evaluate clients against targeted KPIs
• Contribute to quantitative and qualitative analysis of Bitstamp markets, preparing clear recommendations for the business
• Assist building comprehensive data sets of market data and display result effectively in tableau or other tool of choice (Python)
• Assist build business cases which inform and influence key stakeholders on pricing and liquidity strategy
• Collaborate across business functions to deliver end-to-end implementation of initiatives - working closely with Business Intelligence, Support, and Finance teams

On day one you'll bring

• Quantitative skills, combined with technical abilities such as coding in SQL and Python.
• Ability to process, visualize and interpret data
• Independence and ability to solve analytical problems
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Slovenian language

We'll love it even more if you have

• Knowledge of Python/MATLAB/R
• Knowledge of Tableau or other interactive BI tool
• Understanding of financial market and concepts such as depths, spread and volatility
• Understanding of pricing structures for crypto exchanges or similar market participants
