Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, extensive experience in Quality Engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices, hands-on skills with API and GUI based testing; both manual and automated. Functional, performance and load testing, as well as technical testing skills such as database querying and code comprehension.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with engineering and support teams to drive commitments to quality
• Build and execute API and GUI tests, manually and via automation scripts
• Write test plans and execute them for new features and applications
• Track issues and work with developers to identify root causes
• Generate and analyze test reports
• Perform quality inspections of test and development artifacts within the team
• Drive quality control around CI/CD pipeline process and implementations
• Provide technical guidance/coaching to developers on quality tasks
• Provide an established record of driving a culture of quality within your team

What you'll bring:

• 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment
• 4+ years of experience automated testing using Python (preferably using the Pytest framework)
• 3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
• Automated and manual GUI testing experience (C#/Python with Selenium, SpecFlow)
• Automated and manual REST API testing experience
• Automated and manual mobile app testing experience (Android and iOS)
• Experience of database query or scripting (MS SQL Server)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and build tools including Azure DevOps/Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Helm, K8s, Salt, Terraform, Redis
• Ability to work effectively with product management, software development and release engineer
• Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Life-cycle using Agile principles in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe Agile)
• English language- fluent
• Hungarian language - fluent

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services technologies
• Experience testing API endpoints and React applications. Knowledge of React Testing Library and Jest is ideal.
