Data Analyst

Van Caem Klerks Group is seeking a Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer. You will be responsible for maintenance and further development of our Data Platform, reports and apps in Power BI, in-house built Python applications and user support.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer/Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Data modelling knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people of different skill sets.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PowerBI.
• Experience with dbt.
• Experience with Azure.

Recruitment process

• Get to know each other: you will have a 30-minute talk with our Analytics Engineer. This will lead to get to know each other and learning more about Van Caem Klerks Group and the Data Team's role within the company.
• Technical assessment: during a longer assessment, around 1 hour, you will connect with our Analytics Engineer. You will discuss the technical side of the team's work. You also may be given a challenge, which can focus more on applying your skills than theoretical knowledge. For example, you may be asked to complete a SQL coding challenge.
