IT PROJECT MANAGER (Contracted)

Our client, one of Turkey’s leading holdings, is seeking a contracted Senior IT Project Manager with strong IT and technical expertise to lead AI-based projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in supplier and external resource management, as well as proficiency in budget and time management.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure AI and software development projects are executed within budget and on schedule.
• Play an active role in demand management, contract tracking, and supplier management.
• Manage external resource teams, ensuring proper project scope definition and implementation.
• Handle projects change requests and analyze their impact to support decision-making processes.
• Oversee technical details and coordinate development processes with relevant stakeholders.
• Work in compliance with international frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT, implementing best practices.
• Collaborate directly with SMEs and business units to ensure successful project execution.
• Actively participate in testing processes and, if necessary, conduct on-site operational oversight to support quality control mechanisms.
• Prepare presentations for senior management and Chief Officers, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience.
• Hands-on experience in AI, software development, and IT projects.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and data management.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Strong expertise in supplier management and working with external resource teams.
• Experience managing large-scale projects.
• Proven ability in budget and time management.
• Strong crisis and risk management skills.
• Adaptability to a hybrid working model.
• Strong analytical thinking, with excellent communication skills for teamwork and stakeholder collaboration.
