Senior Software Engineer (C#), Trading Systems, Hedge Fund, Singapore

We are working with a highly successful global hedge fund, who have a focus on fixed income trading. They have consistently delivered strong returns since their inception— predominantly double-digit performance — with an AUM in the mid-single-digit billions. Since the turn of the new year, they have focused internally on where they need to improve the team, and they are currently looking to hire a Senior C# Developer into their Singapore office to work with front office staff and relevant systems (trading). The Quant and Tech teams have always been influential at this firm and therefore they have invested heavily in them over the years which is reflected in the calibre of people and systems within the team.

This role will sit within a small trading team in Singapore, working on a number of critical systems around trade automation and execution which will also be used by other teams across their other offices. They are looking for a highly competent C# Developer with experience working within a trading environment who can get up and running in the role quickly. This will see the hire interacting with PMs and Traders regularly to understand requirements from these critical applications as well as interacting with the wider development team in London and Japan.

Further requirements:

• Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong C# programming skills, with hands-on experience in low-latency development.
• Experience in systematic trading environments (advantageous but not essential).
• Familiarity with fixed income (interest rates) products (beneficial but not required).
• A pragmatic, problem-solving mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
• At least 5+ years of experience, ideally in a hedge fund or similar financial environment (open to other firms as well).
