What You’ll Do

As a Backend Microservices Developer at Theratech, you’ll be at the core of developing scalable, reliable services for our platform and mobile app—with a twist: you’ll be expected to use AI tools to streamline and enhance your workflow. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Marketplace Development

• Design and implement the backend architecture for our marketplace using AI-assisted coding tools, ensuring seamless interactions between clients and allied health professionals.

1. Mobile App Services

• Build and maintain backend services for our mobile app, employing AI-based code generation and refactoring to ensure smooth experiences for therapists and clients.

1. Microservices Development

• Design, build, and deploy scalable microservices (using Python, Node.js, or Golang) with the aid of AI tools to optimize code quality and efficiency.

1. API Development & Integration

• Develop and maintain APIs to enable seamless communication between the marketplace, mobile app, and external services—utilizing AI-driven suggestions to speed up development and catch potential issues early.

1. AI-Driven Code Review & Refactoring

• Regularly use AI-based solutions to review and refactor existing code, ensuring best practices, improved maintainability, and enhanced performance across services.

1. Collaboration Across Teams

• Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and allied health professionals to ensure cohesive platform functionality—sharing AI-assisted development tips and insights for continual improvement.

What You’ll Bring

• Expertise in Python, Node.js, or Golang, with hands-on experience in microservices architecture.

• Experience in developing services for mobile applications and marketplaces is a major plus.
