Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services and APIs. Optimize databases and server-side logic for performance and reliability. Implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to serve data and Al-driven insights. Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate APIs with user interfaces.

Ensure system observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting. Deploy machine learning models into production using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

Build inference pipelines to serve real-time or batch predictions through backend services.

Manage model versioning, lifecycle, and scalability within cloud environments.

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pydantic FAST API, Django, Flask.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, Swagger Open API and backend systems.
• Solid understanding of machine learning pipelines and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
• Experience deploying Al models in production environments via APIs or services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL like PostgreSQL).
• Experience handling large datasets, including text, image, and video data. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control (Git).

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to MLOps tools and workflows (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker).
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision (CV) applications.
• Background in API security and authentication (OAuth2, JWT).
