Job Description

We are seeking a PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using PHP frameworks like Symfony.

  • The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners and Agile teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions while maintaining coding standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using PHP (Symfony or similar frameworks).
  • Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with product owners and team members to design scalable and secure backend architectures.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices: Conduct code reviews, follow coding standards, and contribute to high-quality deliverables.
  • Agile Collaboration: Work effectively within an Agile development team, actively contributing to team discussions and sprints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to the PHP tech stack evolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of backend development experience.
  • PHP Framework
  • Symfony
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • CMS platforms like Drupal.
  • Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS).
  • JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and TypeScript.
  • build tools (PHP Composer) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Java programming language
