You might extol the brilliance of Elixir, contribute to open source projects in Rust, but also understand in business the best tool for the job is often the most well trodden, documented, accessible, saleable. One that can be digested and contributed to by developers of all skill levels today, at scale, and for many years to come.

You apply seasoned knowledge, learned through being sat in front of overwhelming technical challenges but found a way to swim where others sank. You've honed your own approach & processes, and welcome learning from others and expanding your skillset at every opportunity. You have designed, built, deployed, monitored, and supported systems running at scale to many thousands of concurrent users.

• Experienced building highly fault tolerant architectures, reliable, scalable solutions
• Highly adaptable, able to work effectively across a wide range of technologies
• Well versed in implementing secure systems & approaches, patterns, familiarity with encryption/hashing
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, Infrastructure as Code
• Enjoy identifying and crushing technical debt early
• Great attitude, team-oriented, enthusiastic about building great solutions & creating value for your end users
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Role Overview:

We are looking to add seasoned battle hardened development grunt for significant contributions across our entire stack as we continue to rapidly scale, improve and extend our already extensive platform. You will be working as part of our small, growing, but highly capable hands-on engineering and UX team, on a wide range of technologies, frameworks & devices.

You'll be:

• Implementing end-to-end, highly dynamic customer facing features
• Efficiently querying, transforming & elegantly presenting swathes of analytical data
• Extending our mobile application, integrating accessory hardware
• Designing and implementing scalable, event driven feature service stacks
• Building out solutions leaning on IoT sensor hardware
• Meaningfully contributing to feature specification, approach & code review
• Supporting & mentoring other team members
• Ever improving our automated testing & deployment processes and systems
