About the Company:
We are looking for a dedicated Chargeback Business Analyst to join our team, focused on enhancing and managing chargeback and showback processes within a dynamic, service-driven environment. The Chargeback Business Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing financial processes related to chargeback systems, ensuring accurate cost allocation, improving data quality, enhancing transparency, and providing strategic insights to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and skilled at transforming data analysis into effective implementation of cost recovery processes while promoting operational efficiency.
Rate: 500-550 Euros per day

About the Role:
The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and skilled at transforming data analysis into effective implementation of cost recovery processes while promoting operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine showback and chargeback processes for various services.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and clarity in chargeback operations.
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards across all implemented processes.
- Support management in establishing standards and governance frameworks to enhance financial processes.
- Align chargeback strategies with broader operational and financial objectives, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Analyse potential impacts of operational or structural changes on chargeback processes and provide recommendations.
- Offer clear guidance to stakeholders to ensure thorough understanding of chargeback and showback systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Service Owners and financial units, to gather and validate data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for chargeback-related inquiries, proactively addressing concerns and fostering collaboration.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of processes, methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Produce comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into chargeback allocations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, chargeback management, or similar roles. Strong understanding of data models (both legacy and cloud-based) related to financial systems. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience within service-oriented or shared services environments is preferred. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or BI tools for data analysis. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with various stakeholders. Ability to work proactively and align activities with strategic objectives. Strong attention to detail and commitment to process improvement. Ability to work independently with precision. Experience with Oracle SQL or similar database management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in relevant fields are advantageous: o Business Analysis Certification o FinOps Certified Practitioner o Cloud platform-specific certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Experience with Agile tools such as Kanban or Scrum is beneficial.
Requirements:
- EU citizenship.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in other European languages is a plus
