Full Stack Engineer - Monaco Planning

Monaco Planning is a leading provider of flexible, customizable workforce and capacity

planning software. With a diverse client base across industries like healthcare, logistics,

government, and more, Monaco Planning delivers tailored solutions for employee

scheduling, capacity forecasting, and HR integration. Our mission is to simplify complex

planning processes, enhancing operational efficiency and improving employee

satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product and design teams to plan and implement the platform overhaul
  • Redesign the platform using modern tech stacks, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and long-term sustainability
  • Integrate AI tools and automation to accelerate development and improve user experience
  • Maintain and optimize the existing codebase during the transition phase
  • Ensure robust testing, deployment, and security processes
  • Continuously improve the platform by implementing new features, performance enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and integrate innovative solutions into the platform
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and other team members

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Expertise in modern web development technologies, including but not limited to JavaScript (React, Node.js), Python, HTML/CSS, and RESTful APIs
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and database management (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Proven track record of working with AI tools and technologies to accelerate development and improve software capabilities
  • Experience in agile development methodologies and version control (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
