Position: Jira SME

Location: Flexible – Hybrid (2 days onsite preferred)

Contract Length: 6 months (Potential for Extension)

About the Role: We are seeking two experienced Jira SMEs to join a growing team at a leading name in hospitality. These newly created roles are essential in supporting the onboarding of an additional 5000 users of the Atlassian suite and ensuring the smooth technical setup and integration of Jira and the wider Atlassian ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Jira and Atlassian SME with deep knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira and Confluence.
• Develop and maintain:
• Queries, scripts, script runners, and behaviours to enhance Jira functionality.
• Integrate Jira and other Atlassian products with external tools such as:
• Google Docs, Google Suite, business-specific platforms, and ServiceNow.
• Provide advanced reporting capabilities using:
• Power BI, Tableau, and Easy BI.
• Develop custom JavaScript scripts for tailored reporting solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in providing Jira expertise within a medium to large organization.
• Strong technical knowledge in developing scripts, automation, and integrations for Jira.
• Atlassian certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working in complex technical environments with integrations to multiple platforms.

Technical Stack:

• Reporting Tools: Tableau, Easy BI
• Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence
• Scripting Languages: JavaScript

Working Arrangement:

• Hybrid: Preferred candidates will work 2 days onsite per week; however, fully remote options will be considered for candidates with exceptional experience.
• 40 hours per week preferred, but 4-day weeks may be considered for the right candidate.
