Senior UX/UI Designer

Our eCommerce client is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join their development department on a full-time basis.

This role is hybrid, 2-3 days onsite (Tuesdays and Thursdays for team in-office days).

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Crafting the overall user experience strategy, design system, and content architecture for their eCommerce site.
• Overseeing a complete overhaul of site journeys and navigation.
• Creating end-to-end designs including low-fidelity user interface sketches/wireframes through to high-fidelity pixel perfect visual design mockups and prototypes.
• Monitoring analytics on user behaviour and site performance, continuously seeking opportunities to deliver a superior and higher converting experience.
• Developing a proficient understanding of the client's products, customers and competition by leading and participating in user research, competitive analysis and other design thinking activities.
• Applying user-centered design best practices and methodologies as well as mobile-first/responsive design thinking
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• 7+ years in UX Design, Digital Product Design or Visual/UI design.
• A strong portfolio of projects which demonstrate creative, user-centered design solutions to complex problems
• Ability to take responsibility for design of solutions from concept to completion.
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and XD and UXPin.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations.
