Infrastructure and Systems Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

• Building and integrating Infra and Application System to meet the project’s needs.
• Work with Solution Architect to assess the systems architecture proposed and working with technical staff to implement it.
• Resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Providing supervision and guidance to deployment teams.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Analyzing the system throughout the enterprise system
• Creating and maintaining or enhancing procedures, processes and designs for a computer system
• Ensuring that the application development team can deliver system solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years system and DevOps development experience with at least 1 in a System Manager role
• Experience deploying Critical IT infrastructure in Government Data Centre.
• Experience in software engineering and system design architecture
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with DevOps tools, Windows, Linux and VMWare or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of security, controls, privacy and compliance in the government services domain
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Identify and evaluate the risk to eliminate or mitigate risk in a computer system or network.
• Knowledge of software development process and technical skills: know the technical aspects of projects to identify risks, propose immediate solutions and provide guidance for the computer system solutions.
• Communication skills: To communicate with all stakeholders such as software engineers, management, clients and vendors, convey technical language to other stakeholders often in non-technical terms.
