🚀 We're Hiring: Commercial Manager

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of our development and construction projects. The ideal candidate will support the Senior Commercial Manager, Head of Project Management, and other department heads in handling both pre- and post-contract commercial requirements.

Purpose of the Job:

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for cost management, procurement, contract administration, and strategic planning to ensure successful project delivery.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

General

✔️ Assist in the commercial development of projects, working with the Senior Management Team.

✔️ Support the development of procurement strategies for design, construction, operation, and maintenance.

✔️ Manage cost planning, cost reporting, change management, and contract closeout.

✔️ Provide progress reports and updates to the Senior Management Team.

Procurement

✔️ Manage the procurement of all services in line with approved contracting and procurement procedures.

✔️ Oversee the procurement of Consultant and Contractor services.

✔️ Lead the commercial assessment of all tender submissions (internally or via a third party).

✔️ Compile and execute contract documents with respective contractual parties.

Cost Planning, Estimating & Reporting

✔️ Manage third-party cost consultants for cost plans, estimates, and reports.

Contract Administration & Closeout

✔️ Oversee contract administration, including managing interim payments.

✔️ Develop contract strategies with the Project Management team.

✔️ Handle final account closeout and claim management (logging, reviewing, responding, and closing out).

✔️ Undertake additional responsibilities as required by senior management.

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Education: BSc/BA in Quantity Surveying or Construction Engineering.

🔹 Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial management experience.

🔹 Certifications: MRICS preferred, PMP/PMI is an advantage.

🔹 Strong expertise in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
