Unity Developer

Mercor is seeking a talented Unity Expert with strong expertise in game development, simulations, and interactive experiences to join an exciting project with a leading AI lab.

In this role, you will use your expertise in Unity to perform structured workflows, create interactive simulations, and optimize game mechanics, helping enhance the client’s browser agent AI model capability in performing workflows autonomously. This is a flexible, remote position, allowing you to work 20+ hours per week based on your availability.

You’re a good fit if you have:

• Strong experience using Unity for game development, simulations, or interactive applications.
• Proficiency in C# scripting and working with Unity’s UI system, animations, and physics engine.
• Experience with importing assets, setting up environments, and optimizing performance.
• Knowledge of game mechanics, user interaction design, and 3D modeling workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to document tasks in a structured manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with VR/AR development, Unity ML-Agents, or integrating third-party SDKs is a plus.

More details about the role:

• 15-20 hours of work per week.
• Fully remote and asynchronous, allowing flexibility around your schedule.
• Project duration is scoped for a minimum of 1-2 months.

Compensation & Legal Details:

• You will be classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.
• Payments will be processed weekly via Stripe Connect.

Note:

Only candidates who have access to a Mac system(M1 or above) and are available to work with it for the project will be considered, as the tooling you would be working with is only Mac-compatible.
