Job Description

  • A Penetration Tester, also known as an ethical hacker, is responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in computer systems, networks, and web applications to assess their security.
  • They perform controlled attacks to help organizations understand their security risks and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations to improve defenses.
  • The tester’s role is to simulate real-world cyber-attacks, uncover potential weak points, and ensure the system is secure from potential threats. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct penetration tests on systems, networks, and web applications to identify security weaknesses.
  • Create detailed reports documenting findings, risk levels, and remediation recommendations.
  • Simulate cyber attacks to test system defenses and evaluate response mechanisms.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments on systems, devices, and infrastructures.
  • Assist in security audits and compliance assessments for industry standards and regulations. Technical Skills:
