Senior Network Engineer

Our client is currently transitioning to an Agile work environment. This offers a challenging and motivating setting where teams and employees are empowered to take ownership of their technical domain.

You will be working within a department responsible for national telecom services, collaborating closely with international IT partners within the group. This department manages network components and services within data centers and corporate buildings.

Job Description

In this role, you will work with various network components and services. You will collaborate with colleagues both locally and within an international support team. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining network equipment (firewalls, switching & routing, load balancing, DNS, proxies, etc.).
• Troubleshooting network-related incidents.
• Supporting projects with your network expertise, ensuring that solutions comply with security policies.
• Processing requests in accordance with security regulations.
• Participating in an on-call service for critical incidents (P1/P2).

Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience in network administration
  
  
  

Experience & Knowledge

At least 5 years of relevant experience in network administration.

Technical Experience

• Experience with network management, daily operations, incident resolution, and migration/upgrade projects
• Strong expertise in:
• Cisco switching & routing
• F5 load balancing
• Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls
• Infoblox
• Experience in large enterprise networks
• Ability to work independently and deliver on time
• Strong communication skills
