Senior IT Manager

NAPA is a leading maritime software and data services provider for ship design and operations to enable safer, more sustainable, and future-proof shipping. We are now looking for a Senior IT Manager to join our global DevOps team. As a Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and continuous improvement of our IT environment and supporting the continuous improvement of our IT team.

This role is full-time and permanent. Your home base will be in our sea-view office in Helsinki, Ruoholahti. This is a hybrid role, and we are seeking a person with the ability to visit our Helsinki office at least a couple times a week.

What will you be doing?

• Facilitating, planning and guiding IT roadmap.
• Supporting global IT team’s success and continuous improvement.
• Configuring and maintaining the company IT environment, spanning MS 365, AWS, local servers, network environment.
• Purchasing IT services and products and vendor management.
• Collaborating across business entities.
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in similar role in Managing IT environment.
• Relevant educational background, e.g. bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or similar field.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Atlassian, AWS and other cloud platforms.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, networks.
• Project management skills and the ability to drive IT projects.
• Security oriented way of working.
• Excellent facilitating, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English written and spoken (our company language is English).
